Clinical supervision

CHCPRP007 Work within a clinical supervision framework

This unit is about initiating structured clinical supervision, then preparing for and participating in it. The activity is self-directed. These workers are professionals who operate with significant autonomy in therapeutic service roles in the community sector.

How you will be assessed

RE CA

You will be assessed on the job under industry conditions with suitable facilities, equipment, resources, case information, and sources of research. (If the workplace has not been provided the full range of contexts and situations, it can be supplemented with scenarios that involve complex interactions with other people.)

Show your assessor your diary of clinical case work experiences and your personal research notes. For this purpose, research does not have to be formal papers, but it needs to be consistent with your role and the expertise required.

You must have:

  1. initiated, prepared for, documented and participated in a structured process of clinical supervision in the workplace in response to at least five different clinical case work experiences.
