Authorization letter

If the auditor is not a staff member of the ACAS Centre, the auditee is entitled to get a letter of authorization issued by the ACAS Centre.

The authorization letter is sent to both the auditor and the auditee. It purposes are to:

1. Authorize a person (or persons) to audit an ACAS site on behalf of ACAS
2. Define some terms of the audit e.g. confidentiality, protection of Intellectual Property, and protection of organizational knowledge such as unique innovations or procedures.
3. Specify a means of assistance.
