After each step below, show your work to your assessor.

1. Write a summary of the quality standards that apply to your organization.
2. Do an organizational self evaluation, including checking your legislative and regulatory compliance. This will include an internal audit based on interviews of all stakeholder groups and a document audit.
3. Write a quality improvement plan
4. Implement the plan
5. Get the organization ready for an external evaluation.

Note: If you have done a good job of steps 1-4, step five should require very little effort.
