Below are the six steps to sterilising using a sterilising system. Sort the steps below into the correct order by numbering them 1 to 6, then check your answers below.
- place a plastic submerger over the item to ensure the equipment is submerged under the water
- every 24 hours wash the sterilising container out and start again with fresh solution and water
- soak the equipment for a minimum of 1 hour, remove it and store it in a separate container until required
