Good morning Ross,
I apologise for the time it has taken to get back to you.
Point C of clause 4.1, is referring to providers seeking permission to publish student images or images that reference another organisation. The use of photo stock images is acceptable as long as you have followed any applicable guidelines for stock images.
Kind regards,
Jane

Dear ASQA enquiries,
Is it permissible to use photo stock images on a website when they contain picture of people? "Photo stock images" are images for which the copyright is owned or licensed by a third party that can provide them to users on a permit or license.
Photo stock images include images of unidentified persons (usually models), but permission to use photo stock images do not contain signed release by subject of photo.
Does the use of photo stock images meet the current SRTO requirements of Standard 4.1 c) "refers to another person or organisation in its marketing material only if the consent of that person or organisation has been obtained;"
Thank you
Ross Woods, ACAS
