RE: CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT WHICH ARE NOT BEING MET "LETTER OF WARNING"

Over the past (time period) your performance in your employment has been considered to be unsatisfactory, to the extent that this has had to be raised with you on several occasions.

These discussions have taken place with (name of member of management committee or employer representative).

You have been warned with respect to the following matters:

It appears that you have not implemented the advice given to you nor abided by the agreed rules and conditions of your employment. We would like you to make a significant improvement in the following areas:

  1. Program appropriate activities for the children based on their interests and developmental level
  2. Attend weekly meetings with other staff members to plan the next weeks' program
  3. Improve your attitude towards the other staff and try to be a partner of the team and not an outsider
  4. Use disciplinary methods that are in keeping with the centre's policy on caring for children. ie, under no circumstances are you to strike or verbally abuse any child in your care
  5. Keep the daily centre records up to date in an efficient manner.

This situation will be reviewed again in (time period).

If there has not been significant improvement there will be no option than to terminate your contract of employment
